Carlton Bridge is on the A645 over the River Aire Between the Village of Carlton and the market town of Snaith. On the left of the picture Drax Power Station can be seen. The Bridge and the Power Station have one thing in common.
The Bridge was built by Sir William Arrol in the 1930's and the steelwork at the Power Station was erected by Sir William Arrol and Alex Findlay in the 1970's
