‘The Snicket’
‘The Snicket’
This east north north-westerly facing photograph was taken from the northern end of an alleyway which, in the 1950’s and 1960’s, was known locally as ‘The Snicket’.

The shop windows on the left are part of the local Fish and Chip bar, ‘Alleyways’, which in the 1950’s and 1960’s, had its entrance inside the Snicket (behind the viewpoint).

The photograph was taken from the northern end of the Snicket facing the junction of TA0388 : Falsgrave Road (middle ground, left/right) and TA0388 : Commercial Street (ahead, beyond the no entry sign).
