‘The Snicket’
‘The Snicket’
This south south-easterly facing photograph was taken from near the northern end of an alleyway which, in the 1950’s and 1960’s, was known locally as ‘The Snicket’. At that time there was the entrance to a fish and chip in The Snicket (just behind the viewpoint on the right).

The Snicket links TA0388 : Falsgrave Road (behind the viewpoint) with TA0387 : Avenue Road (ahead).
In front of the green, garage door and to the right is an TA0387 : Alley / Service Road that runs westerly between Avenue Road and Falsgrave Road. The service road links this point with TA0387 : New Park Road.
Slightly further ahead and to the left another alley (cul-de-sac) runs to the east.
