This westerly facing photograph shows houses on the northern side of Avenue Road.

On the right is the southern entrance to an alleyway which, in the 1950’s and 1960’s, was known locally as TA0387 : ‘The Snicket’.
On the left is the junction of an TA0387 : Alley / Service Road that runs behind houses on Londesborough Road and leads to the ‘Avenue Cottages’ before turning sharply left to join Londesborough Road.
