Concrete and steel
Northwest of the access ramp > Link
there are no nearshore reefs, there is no build-up of sand; the concrete sea wall is exposed so that its design can clearly be seen: it has been built into the dunes and consists of a number of steps, topped by a wave-shaped lip. The seaward base of the construction has been reinforced with steel sheet pilings.
