Behind the viewpoint the visitor following Lady Spencer’s Walk will have left a small wood and crossed a field to the gate in the fence beyond.

Just beyond the gate is what was once the main drive to the hall and, turning left (southerly-westerly) is the return route to the car park.

Beyond the drive is another SK4664 : Footpath in Hardwick Park that can be used to extend the walk, however many will follow the drive back to the car park.
