Footpath in the Hardwick Estate
Footpath in the Hardwick Estate
This footpath connects a bridleway to Ault Hucknall (ahead) with the old main drive to Hardwick Hall (behind the viewpoint).
At this point the footpath runs through a strip of woodland that narrows (ahead) to the point where it is hardly more than a windbreak.
Behind the viewpoint the woodland is a little more substantial.

To see a more easterly (behind the viewpoint) photograph of the footpath where it joins the bridleway, click here SK4664 : Footpath in Hardwick Park.
