Visitors’ drive to Hardwick Hall
Visitors’ drive to Hardwick Hall
The photograph shows the visitors drive to Hardwick hall as it approaches its summit (behind the viewpoint).

Except for estate vehicles the National Trust operate a one-way traffic system in the park. In this photograph the flow is toward the viewpoint.
Behind the viewpoint, as the drive mounts the top of the hill it joins the original driveway from Duke’s Drive before reaching the car park and halls (two of them the old and the new). The vehicular exit from the park is via the Hardwick Inn.
