SE0593 : Flue and chimney at Cobscar Mill
near to Redmire, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Flue and chimney at Cobscar Mill
The line of an old flue can be clearly seen heading up the hillside towards the chimney. However, this is not the flue from nearby Cobscar Mill [see other photos in tnis square], but is the northern end of the long flue from Preston Mill some 2 miles away. Preston Mill predates Cobscar Mill, but which flue was built first is difficult to establish.
