SK0888 : Kinder Gates

Kinder Gates
Kinder Gates
The sight of these rocky buttresses reassures walkers using the original Pennine Way route across the featureless Kinder plateau that they are on the right track for Kinder Downfall, though by this stage the sandy bed of the infant River Kinder is wide enough for there to be little doubt. (The new route avoids route-finding difficulties by following the western edge.) Looking back southeast.
