On the left is the fence at the northern edge of the A31(T) dual carriageway. A path leads alongside the fence, down into the Highland Water valley. The wet grassy slope to the right leads to the south-eastern edge of Ocknell Inclosure. The small wood in the distance is at Winding Stonard.
