Stile at Shuckburgh Church
Stile at Shuckburgh Church
An interesting "W" opening stile leading into the churchyard of the church at Shuckburgh hall. The centre pair of posts are normally closed with a steel latch holding them together. To open the stile the latch is lifted and the posts fold back into the two side supports, thus forming a sort of wide beam squeeze stile.
