SX0454 : Dionysius sculpture, Eden Project
3 km from St Austell, Cornwall, Great Britain

Dionysius sculpture, Eden Project
The Rites of Dionysus by Tim Shaw, in the Warm Temperate Biome.
Dionysus, Greek God of the vines, was later known as Bacchus by the Romans. The sculpture nestles amongst the vinyards of the Warm Temperate Biome - savage, provocative figures, the personification of nature in its wild, untamed state.
