Old Wyche Road
Looking down the very steep Old Wyche Road from near its junction to the newer Wyche Road (on the left of the photograph) close to the Wyche Cutting.
This is the old salt route from Droitwich over the Malvern Hills.
Wyche or wich (as in Droitwich and Nantwich) means salt in old English.
The road is closed to all motorised traffic except for access.
