This south-westerly facing photograph is of the western end of the main footpath/driveway into the cemetery.
On either side of the footpath/driveway are hedges that border two of the large sections of graves, another four of which (plus another two smaller sections) are bordered by similar hedges.

The cemetery is laid out in a grid of footpaths/driveways running roughly southeast/northwest and northeast/southwest.

The trees in the distance are on rising ground that becomes Irton Moor, bounded by Raincliffe and Rowbrow Woods, ForgeValley and the A170.
