Stevington Windmill 1
Dates back to 1770. Restored in 1921 by a local carpenter and wheelwright Mr P Keech. Acquired by Beds County Council in 1951 when further restoration work was carried out. Reputed to be the last windmill in the country to work with four common (cloth covered) sails.
