St Bartholomew's Church
The name Tardebigge is 'The tower on the hill'. A Saxon church was recorded here in 974 AD later replaced by a Norman church. The tower of the Norman church collapsed in 1775 and the rebuilt church dates from 1777.
The parish of Tardebigge was transferred from Worcestershire to Staffordshire in the 12th century. It was then transferred to Warwickshire in 1266 at the behest of the abbot of Bordesley. It was returned to Worcestershire in 1844.
