NT1050 : Upper Cairn

taken 13 years ago, 4 km from Dolphinton, Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Upper Cairn.
Upper Cairn.
This is a fine example of a neolithic cairn, there are several in the area. Unfortunately it has been robbed of some stones. The cairn is on the line, possibly next door, but the POV with the tussocks is definitely in NT1050. Mendick Hill beyond.
