SK7704 : Robin-a-Tiptoe Hillfort

taken 13 years ago, near to Launde Abbey, Leicestershire, Great Britain

Robin-a-Tiptoe Hillfort
Robin-a-Tiptoe Hillfort
Originally 'Howback Hill'. The current name apparently refers to a sheep rustler who escaped death by hanging by being unusually tall! Also the name of a good local ale.
