The trig pillar is still in good condition, retaining much of its paint. Flush levelling bracket S8797 faces northwards. This tertiary station pillar was completed 12th August 1956 at a cost of £49.11s.6d. Easy access from Arrochar. Views to Cruach Tairbeirt, Ben More, Invergroin, Beinn Reithe, The Brack, Ben Donich, The Cobbler, Beinn Narnain plus many more. In the background of the photograph is Tullich Hill which at 632m, is 185m above this trig pillar.
