SE5489 : Ladhill Beck below the ford
near to Hawnby, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Ladhill Beck below the ford
Three years later, there is still ample evidence of the major flash flood of 19th of June 2005.
The ford is still missing some sort or rail on the low side, where there is a big drop.
The stream bed has been cleared of the large debris such as trees which jammed its course, but the scoured banks seem to be still quite unstable and are continuing to erode.
Even normal spate conditions appear to be carrying much more gravelly material along than previously.
