Primark replaces the department store
The shop on the right of the photo was the department store Bentalls when Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre opened. Later the department store became Beales as shown in TQ1780 : Ealing Broadway Centre. The day after the photo was taken it was opening as the value clothing store Primark.
