The church of SS Andrew & Peter
St Andrew's church is the largest in the area and it has one of the tallest towers in Norfolk; built during the 15th century on the site of an older Norman church it was extensively restored during the 19th century > LinkExternal link - the box pews and the five-light east window date from that time, the windows contain 19th and 20th century glass. There are a few C16 bench ends > LinkExternal link - LinkExternal link and a restored rood screen, the panels of which depict twelve saints > LinkExternal link. The C15 octagonal font is unusual in that its panels are carved with scenes from the life of Christ > LinkExternal link - LinkExternal link.
