SP6100 : Little Milton Post Office
taken 16 years ago, near to Little Milton, Oxfordshire, England
Little Milton Post Office
The thatched building on the left was once the village Post Office, and appears as such on the listed buildings register.
Link C17 and C18/19, whitewashed coursed limestone rubble with timber lintels. This closed in 2000 and as a temporary measure the function was relocated to Wall Street Cottage, the tiled building in the centre. This is also Grade II listed, probably C17 shell, rendered limestone rubble.
Link I understand that since this photo was taken the post office has found a home in the village community centre, and Wall Street Cottage has reverted to residential use.
