This signpost indicates the Hornby Road to the right (Nth-east) and Wood House Lane to the left (Sth-east). It doesn't mention the bridleway that climbs over Dunsop Fell to the west. Perhaps this is because although this track at first appears passable by motorbike (which are allowed on the Hornby Road), further up on the fell top it is less so.
