This lake lies under the steep rocky cliffs of Craig y Dulyn beneath Foel Grach in the Carneddau. It can be reached from the end of the single track road in Cwm Eigiau. It is the scene of several wartime plane crashes and one such wreck lies beneath the surface near the hut and is visible when the water levels are low.
