Freeholds Top trig pillar
Freeholds Top trig pillar
A wintry scene looking NE across the small pond at the summit of Freeholds Top (454m). It is a two-mile ascent from the Calder valley to reach the trig pillar. A bridleway from Walsden to Sharneyford crosses the moor at this point.
