NH0016 : East ridge of Sgurr Fhuaran
near to Allt an Lapain [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

East ridge of Sgurr Fhuaran
Viewed from a height of 500m, the ridge gradually steepens and narrows as it rises. The high point on the right is where the ridge begins to level off at about 830m, near the centre of NG9916. On the far left is the peak of Sgurr na Ciste Duibhe (1027m) in NG9814. This ridge is probably more popular with sheep than walkers, but it provides an interesting alternative route to Sgurr Fhuaran from Glenlicht House (NH0017).
