ND2435 : Reisgill Bridge

near to Lybster, Highland, Great Britain

Reisgill Bridge
Reisgill Bridge
The second and third bridges across the Reisgill Burn with the village of Lybster beyond. The arrows on the road are to remind foreign tourists which side to drive on. This is a particular problem in the Highlands where, with the very low traffic volume, foreigners tend to relax and revert to driving on the right with horrendous consequence. This especially a problem where a single track road joins a twin carriageway as is the case near here.
