A Little Owl at Brackenborough Hall
This is a full grown female and was caught and ringed by a farm worker who is also a volunteer for the British Trust for Ornithology. She had caught a mouse for her tea. The farm owners are very wildlife aware recognising the wildlife benefit of "set aside" land and higher hedges. See LinkExternal link for information (and maybe another photo of the owl).
