Last Turbine Tower Delivery on the M66
On Saturday the 31st of May 2008 the last of the twenty six turbine towers, seen here on the M66 approaching Edenfield, was delivered to the Scout Moor Wind Farm construction site.
It was almost 6 months to the day since the first tower was delivered back in November 2007 Link
The tower sections in the picture were for Turbine Pad No 17 which was constructed during the first week of June 2008.
