SP5822 : The Penny Black, 58 Sheep Street
near to Bicester, Oxfordshire, Great Britain

The Penny Black, 58 Sheep Street
One thing Bicester isn't short of is public houses. Surprisingly The Penny Black is a fairly recent arrival, having opened in October 1997. The rather splendid building is much older having previously been a post office. Indeed the words Post Office can be seen inscribed in stone below the pub's name. This is a J.D. Wetherspoon pub.
