River Avon at Huntingdon Cross
A few hundred metres north of the head of the Avon Reservoir lies Huntingdon Cross, where the Two Moors Way and Abbott's Way cross the River Avon. This photo showing the remains of 'concrete' supports which must have carried materials associated with nearby workings - pedestrians and carts having been expected to use the 'ford', adjacent to the photo point.
