Coronation Plantation
Coronation Plantation
This stand of trees was planted with two different species to make the letters 'ER' around the time of the Queen's coronation in 1953. Easily visible from the A40 between Monmouth and Ross in winter; in summer the two species merge together making it harder to discern.
