Shooters Track Grizedale
Shooters Track Grizedale
Made for ponies in Victorian times this one made by an ancestor of mine John Whitaker who worked for Lord Sefton. He says '12 ponies used to go out onto the fells one for the game cart, two for the panniers and the rest for the ladies and gentlemen to ride.' He also built luncheon huts separate for the gents and drivers decorated with Heather.
