New Style date on Cliffe memorial, Mathon

One of several monuments to members of the Cliffe family in Mathon church. This one has an interesting date. About two thirds of the way down it gives the date of Allen Cliffe's death as "Octr 10th 1752 New Style", which was just 26 days after the Gregorian calendar was adopted in Britain following the calendar (New Style) Act of 1750.
