Amorous Ostrich
It's not every day I get propositioned, never mind by an ostrich! This fellow is evidently pretty desperate, because as soon as he spotted me he came running over to the fence and dropped into his display. As I walked along the road he followed me, and every time I paused he started displaying again. The display, termed kantling, involves moving his head from side to side far enough to hit his back, and judging by the developing bald patches among his feathers he must be performing to anything that moves.
