Pembroke is about 4-4.5 miles away depending on which point you measure to, and Hobbs Point (in Pembroke Dock opposite Neyland) is about 5.5. 15 miles 410 yards to Haverfordwest is plausible, and consistent with SN0403 : Unusually precise milestone, which is about 300 yards north.

SN0804 : Milestone, Redberth shows another milestone further east on this road near Redberth, which could reasonably be 6 and a bit miles from Pembroke. However, its legend reads "3 miles, 512 yards to Pembroke" (note the difference of 410 yards again), so it seems that the two plates have been put on the milestones the wrong way round!

I suspect this milestone was originally placed at the junction 100 yards south of here (where the old A477 met the Haverfordwest road) and has been moved north to the main junction.

A further point of interest: 3 miles 512 yards only gets you to the outskirts of Pembroke, not the centre: I make it the junction at SM995016. This point could well have been the end of the turnpike.
