SZ3287 : Totland Pier
near to Totland, Isle of Wight, Great Britain

Totland Pier
Now semi derelict with only a small part accessible from the tea rooms at the "dry end". It was once a gateway to the genteel West Wight in the Victorian era, giving access to Totland and beyond from visiting paddle steamers.
The pier was also used for some years by the pilot service who had a launch here which took pilots out to boats wishing to enter the Solent via the western channel past Hurst Castle.
