where it stands now, was rebuilt in the late 1880s from the materials of the dismantled old church > Link
of which only the south porch and the octagonal tower remain at the site. It took ten years to raise the funds needed and another two to complete the new building. Curiously, its tower stands at the northeastern corner of the building. The architect was JD Sedding and the then Rector of Edgefield was Canon Walter Marcon, who in Norfolk is remembered as the cycling parson - he is commemorated in a roundel in one of the modern church windows > Link

. The west window was originally the east window in the old church; the rood screen is a combination of original and new and the parclose screen > Link
to the south aisle is dated from 1526. The font is C13 Purbeck marble (seen here). The church is open every day. For more information see: Link
