Just captured above the chimneys and TV aerials of Knighton, a refuelling exercise takes place between an RAF VC10 of 101 squadron (Brize Norton) and most probably a Boeing E-3D airborne early warning aircraft from RAF Waddington (8 and 23 squadrons). The aircraft were flying in high winds under stormy skies: the refuelling hose from the VC10 is visible, but not in contact with the Boeing.
