Stanley Moor
Stanley Moor
It was the rock face which first caught my eye. Then, as I approached, I thought the walled area would be a sheep fold. The donkey on the gate, and the headstone on the grave, made me think it may be a donkey graveyard - there is a donkey sanctuary a few miles up the A623 at Peak Forest. It is actually the last resting place of one Kathleen Mary Slater(1951-2002). R.I.P. Kathleen.
