Llanddeusant: Melin Hywel
Melin Hywel or Howell, this watermill was restored in 1975 and has an overshot wheel. It is open to the public from Easter to September, on weekdays only. There has been a watermill on this site since 1352. Llanddeusant is believed to be the only parish or community in Britain which retains a working watermill and a working windmill, the Llynon mill - see SH3485, excepting Pakenham in Suffolk
