Kirkbride Hill: View West
View from the Kings Laggan lane SW towards a enclosed mound (centre by stone dyke turn). Formerly thought to be an ancient burial ground and site of a church, it is now believed that it is more likely to be a prehistoric settlement. The mound is N of Lady’s Well, both by Skyre Burn and just beyond are the Whiteside Woods.
