The Old Rectifying House, Worcester
The Old Rectifying House, Worcester
This pub/restaurant occupies a superb position on North Parade overlooking the River Severn just above Worcester Bridge - although one that is prone to flooding. The name derives from the fact that the rear of the building was part of a distillery in the 18th century and refers to the rectifying, or redistilling, of spirits.
