Impressive wrought iron gate
The burial plot of the Scudamore-Stanhope family is surrounded by a clipped yew hedge and a stone wall with wrought iron gate on the east side. It has scrolls, rosettes, the family arms, motto and crest and finials in the shape of bears' paws. It is believed that the gate came from nearby Holme Lacy House, now a hotel.
