SO8454 : New Road Cricket Ground, Worcester
near to Worcester, Worcestershire County, Great Britain

New Road Cricket Ground, Worcester
Often considered the most beautiful of all the county cricket grounds, Worcestershire first started playing here in 1899 on land converted from a sheep pasture. Unfortunately, its proximity to the River Severn means that it is prone to flooding. Worcestershire are playing Glamorgan here in a match Worcestershire were to win by ten wickets.
