SO8454 : New Road Cricket Ground, Worcester
near to Worcester, Worcestershire County, Great Britain

New Road Cricket Ground, Worcester
Showing the New Road end of the ground. A year previously flood waters engulfed this scene - reaching a level well above the heads of these spectators; as a result the ground was unuseable for the rest of the season. The spire belongs to the former St Andrews Church and is known as the Glover's Needle.
