H4182 : The River Strule

3 km from Moyle, Ireland

The River Strule
The River Strule
A view of the river from Beltany, the old railway track ran between the road and the river and would have been one of the most scenic runs as the train travelled from Omagh to Londonderry. Most evidence of the track has been removed, though there is a disused metal railway bridge still spanning the river at Blackrock. The fields are prone to flooding in wet weather.
