Beside the clayworks near Sandygate
The grass lies on the edge of the large clay works that are found in this area. You can see the white tips of the clayworks on the horizon behind the trees.

Additional information from Robin Stott, March 2010:
Seen beyond the Ugbrooke Stream, this is an earlier stage in the formation of the great ridge of clay waste that lies northeast of White Pit and Preston Manor ball clay quarries. It is now a good two kilometres in length and can be seen from the other side in the background of SX8575 : White Pit Quarry and SX8575 : Preston Manor Quarry. A view along the top is SX8575 : Clay waste haul road above White Pit Quarry.
